A modern classic from Pininfarina, the simple yet elegant Spider body that premiered on the 1970 Spider Veloce, would prove to be popular, until the nineties. The technique of the Spider was essentially that of the Giulia while the engine was the double overhead camshaft of the GTV. The original 1750 version was a 1 year model, with the arrival of the Spica-injected 2000 model in 1971.
This Giallo Pagaoda 2000 was sold by Chris Nikel’s Autohaus in Tulsa, Oklahoma to the first owner on September 13, 1973. Certainly very happy with the ltalian sports car this gentleman would keep the car for nearly forty years! Carefully maintained since new, the car has spent much of its life in the car-friendly climates of Oklahoma and downtown Texas. With just 19,000 Miles, the Alfa is very original, except that it was repainted once in the original color. In 2013 more than 7,000 Usd was spent on mechanical restoration.
Since 2013, the car has driven around in the mild climate of Southern California, most recently in fashionable Beverly Hills by a local car enthusiast. With devoted care of new and a long history of maintenance, there is little more that one would want from this beautifully preserved, slender ltalian spider.
